Johnny contributes to Blue Meridian’s investee selection process, supports individual investee relationships, including developing scaling plans, and helps assess investee and portfolio-wide performance. Working closely with Managing Directors, he also collaborates on innovative initiatives to expand Blue Meridian’s work, with a focus on The Studio.
Previously, Johnny worked as a consultant at CCS Fundraising and Nonprofit Finance Fund, where he supported dozens of organizations across sectors—from arts and housing to health and social services—with managing capital campaigns, feasibility studies, financial analysis, and designing financial workshops. Before that, Johnny spent four years as a frontline fundraiser at two organizations focused on mentorship for youth in middle school and those impacted by the foster care system.
Johnny earned a BA in Political Science and a master’s degree in public administration from California State University, Los Angeles, as well as a Doctorate in Public Administration from the University of La Verne, where his research focused on collaborative networks and their performance.
