Bill Furmanski

Senior Director, Branding & Communications

As part of the Branding & Communications team, Bill contributes to the continual development of Blue Meridian’s brand and advances communications efforts in support of our mission. In particular, Bill’s responsibilities include spearheading the development of Blue Meridian’s strategic communications plan, leading campaigns to engage with core audiences, and managing special communications projects.

Prior to joining Blue Meridian, was the Senior Director of Communications for the Fair Labor Association in Washington, DC. In this role, he helped the international nonprofit reimagine its brand strategy, introducing a new logo and website, relaunch and grow its social media channels, and secure media coverage of its programs and members. Before that, he served as the Senior Vice President of Communications for the Truth Initiative, where he helped launch the lifesaving and award-winning “truth” teen tobacco prevention campaign and two national educational campaigns to help smokers quit.

Bill received his Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Seton Hall University.
