Stephen works closely with Managing Directors to support relationships with investees, including facilitating the development of scaling plans and providing counsel on execution. He also helps to source and conduct due diligence on new investment opportunities and collaborates on innovation initiatives to expand Blue Meridian’s work, with a focus on Nationwide Solutions.
Previously Stephen was a portfolio manager on the foundation relations team at the Natural Resources Defense Council, and before that an associate director at Arabella Advisors where he oversaw a portfolio of fiscally sponsored philanthropic projects. Earlier, Stephen was an AmeriCorps Member with the American Red Cross in Chicago and worked at Rotary International, where he served in various grantmaking roles and as a member of the organization’s strategy, research, and evaluation team.
Stephen earned a BA in Political Science at the University of Iowa and an MPA at DePaul University.
