Allana Jackson

Deputy Chief Investment & Impact Officer

As Deputy Chief Investment and Impact Officer, Allana works across portfolios, partnering on strategy development and implementation, managing cross-portfolio operations, and providing strategic and executional leadership on critical business priorities and innovation efforts which will expand Blue Meridian’s work as it evolves. She also explores new philanthropic investment opportunities, leads due diligence on potential Blue Meridian investees, and manages relationships with current investees.

Before joining Blue Meridian, Allana was a partner at the Bridgespan Group and led the firm’s Boston office as well as its criminal justice practice area. She worked with donors and nonprofit organizations to develop strategies for significant scaling of impact with an emphasis on advancing philanthropic collaboratives, structuring big bet investments, and unlocking funding for policy and advocacy work. Previously, Allana was a manager at Bain & Company in its Consumer Goods & Retail Practice where she focused on organizational effectiveness, growth strategy, and mergers & acquisitions. She serves on the Board of Directors of Stand for Children and the Branch Alliance for Educator Diversity.

Allana earned her BA in Economics and Sociology from Harvard University and her MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.
